* What does ‘ICC’ stand for?
ICC (Intermediate Certificate Course in Comparative International Studies) is the name of one of SOAS undergraduate foundation programmes. It is a 10-month programme ”designed for international students who want to study for an undergraduate degree at a British university”.
Because most of our classes and lectures are held in the Faber building, and because most ICC students won’t be studying at SOAS next year, it is hard for us to get involved in SOAS univeristy life.
* In what way can ICC Creative Society help?
The ICC Creative Society aims to help students from SOAS foundation programmes getting more involved in SOAS university life by offering them the opportunity to meet other SOAS students with similar interests (such as photography, music, dance..).
It will enable students to express their thoughts and opinions in a creative way, by using any kind of material / back-up (music, painting, photography, writing, drawing…).
However, remember that this society is NOT limited to students from SOAS foundation programmes. ANYONE can join!
